This is an old shade. I had another shade lined up from Essie to wear today, but this past week has been really tough. I wanted to wear a dark color. Something that screams out that I’m a bad ass and to not mess with me. I found that in this shade.
This deep berry hue is something most people reserve for fall and winter, but I love how this looks against my tanned skin. It gives a bit of edge to any summer outfit and it looks chic enough to wear in the office or at happy hour.
Essie describes this shade as “a creamy deep luscious berry.” and I agree. It’s a little more purple than your typical maroon/oxblood shade.
If you’re interested in checking out this shade, you can get it for $9.
